Manchester United victory parade

Manchester United put their Champions League disappointment behind them as they took an open-top bus journey through Manchester and Trafford to celebrate the team's 19th league title.

Just like the fans who lined the streets to watch them, the players took the opportunity to take a few souvenir pictures on their mobile phones as they journeyed from Manchester Cathedral to Stretford Mall, passing their home ground of Old Trafford along the way.

As the bus reached Old Trafford, fans crowded along both sides of Sir Matt Busby Way to wave flags, blow air horns and sing songs to their idols.

Departing goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar kept a tight grip on the Premier League trophy.

Manchester United's victory parade, celebrating the club's record-breaking 19th league title, left Old Trafford for a final stop at Stretford Mall.
